Soulstance is a downbeat acid jazz style band with a tremendous soul. The banc
has such a solid groove and an airy feeling.
When the Ranch Man needs a soul cleansing these are the cats I turn to. Really is nice with a great set of headphones, low lights, and a good glass of wine.

Even though the Ranch Man is in beautiful Colorado, I keep my membership to a wonderful blues organization in Rockford IL., the Crossroads Blues Society. Great bunch of people and the best thing is their BITS program. Blues In The Schools. They expose kids to the blues, the best form of music in the Ranch Man's opinion.
Holy Cow, run (don't walk) over to youtube and search for Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears. This is some mighty hot funk with a fabulous influence from the "hardest working man in the business", Mr. James Brown. I recomment "Sugarfoot" or "I'm Broke". Hope to see this guy skyrocket!
